We are in the planning stages for those events and will announce further details as they are finalized. In that regard, if your name is misspelled in Results and/or Points, send us the correction so we can alert our trophy supplier, before they begin engraving on Nov. 30th. NATIONAL CHAMPIONS CROWNED DURING OUR 29th RACE OF CHAMPIONS When the last checkered flag flew for the final race at Daytona, everyone celebrated at the Awards Ceremony and watched the new Champions accept their well-earned trophies and accolades. Congratulations to All!
29th RACE OF CHAMPIONS INFO September 6, 2012 Pre-entry is officially open for our 29th Annual Race of Champions at Daytona International Speedway! In addition to Pre-Entry forms for CCS, ASRA and the AMA Road Race Grand Championships, the Official R.O.C. Mailer contains important information for everyone planning to attend. Please read it carefully from cover to cover since several things have changed, including the locations for Registration and the area set aside for staging. Red Flag Fund Auction Date Changed Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Red Flag Fund Auction originally scheduled for August 18th, 2012 has been rescheduled for September 22nd. The event still will be held at Blackhawk Farms Raceway during the CCS event. The Red Flag Fund uses the annual auction to help seriously injured racers throughout the season. If you would like to send a donation, visit www.redflagfund.org. The Fund also accepts items throughout the year to be auctioned off at a live event or on eBay. The Red Flag Fund is dedicated to helping seriously injured road racers. By raising money through apparel sales, auctions and other events, they are able to bridge financial gaps not covered by insurance. They are a Federal 501 (3)(c) non-profit charitable organization. SUMMIT POINT PADDOCK RULE Our Summit Point Summer Cyclefest is shaping up to be an exciting weekend. We will have a full paddock with our CCS and ASRA racers joined by competitors in the Side Car Racers Association and the F2000 Championship Series. In that regard, we'd like to remind everyone that it is important to keep all Fire Lanes clear in the paddock area. If there is a painted white line at the edges of the road at your pit, keep all of your equipment behind that line. If there is no painted line, no more than one foot onto the asphalt. If you do not go by these guidelines, be prepared to move since this rule will be strictly enforced. R.I.P. Bill Fehrman, Mid-West Race Director Aug. 16, 2012: Bill and his family have been our dear and trusted friends since the early days of CCS. He loved every kind of racing, but especially motorcycle racing. His absence will be felt by every person in our organization. Our sincerest condolences go out to the Fehrman family! The funeral service for Bill Fehrman will be Monday, August 20th. Visitation from 9:30-11:30 am with service to follow at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2220 E College Ave, Appleton WI.

We strongly recommend that all participants take care of this prior to arriving at the track in order to expedite the process. This should allow you to avoid any delays that may occur at NJMP's main gate: To reward you for taking the time to become a "Fan Pass" member, the track will provide exclusive discounts and offers from participating area businesses.
