3.27.06 > OVERALL POINTS UPDATE <

Overall points system used for CCS regional has been officially changed from what was printed in the 2006 Rules and Regulations. The new system passed by the 2006 Rules Committee is as follows:

Overall points earned in all SuperSport, SuperBike, Grand Prix and GT classes will now be multiplied by the riders performance index and then divided by 1000 (to put the points back into the same format as the riders are used to). The rider with the highest adjusted point total under this new format will be declared the "Overall Regional Champion" in the Expert or Amateur category. Expert Top Ten Numbers will be assigned to those riders who rank in the ten highest positions by adjusted points.

3.13.06 > SE REGION AWARDS / ROAD AMERICA etc. <

  • The Southeast Region Awards Celebration Party will be held on Saturday, April 15th, at Carolina Motorsports Park. About an hour after the last checkered flag drops, join us to celebrate last year's class and overall champs! There is no cost .. yeah .. it's FREE.


  • ROAD AMERICA - Thurs. night early registration time and place have changed. It will now take place at the track between 6:00pm and 8:00pm (you must be in line by 8pm).


  • Points for Florida, Mid-Atlantic and SouthEast Regions have been posted.


  • Our Online Pre-Entry has returned at last! A link has been added to all left menus and on the Forms page.

3.5.06 > DAYTONA RESULTS POSTED <

  • Results have been posted for all Daytona races.  Points to be updated Thursday March 9th.

2.23.06 > *** ADDITIONAL DAYTONA NOTICES *** <

All of the pre-entries are in the computer and the crosscheck of the classes has resulted in a few duplicate numbers. The following riders need to use a different number at Daytona only.

Reminder for those who are Post Entering: If a pre-entered rider from another region is using your number, you will be assigned a temporary one for the Daytona races. This is to avoid duplicates within the same events.

2.21.06 > *** DAYTONA REMINDERS *** <

ALL GARAGES (enclosed as well as open) ARE SOLD. Our paddock parking officials will assist you in locating your garage and will tell you where to place your trailers and support vehicles.

Registration Location: Gate 40 - Turn off of International Blvd. onto Williamson Blvd and take the first left. Daytona guards will direct parking and then it's a short walk to the building. (Advise the guards if you need handicap access - they will be pleased to accommodate you.) Registration Hours are provided in the Schedule of Events.

Team Hammer has the track on Thursday, March 2nd. Any of you who are not participating in their Advance Riders School or Practice will be able to enter the track during breaks. (Usually every 15 minutes or so.) You must have a pass to enter the paddock.

Shipments to the racetrack should be addressed to you in care of CCS/ASRA, Daytona International Speedway, 1801 W. International Blvd., Daytona Beach FL 32114. It is your responsibility to pick them up from the track's Shipping & Receiving Department.

CCS/ASRA Tech Inspectors will begin teching bikes on Thursday at 1:00pm and will continue through 5pm.

Trophies can be picked up 30 minutes after the Posted results are Final. Ask any CCS Official for the location of the trophy room. (It is usually near the tech garages.)

DO NOT MISPLACE the pink form you receive at Registration. This copy is needed for any registration or scoring issues that may arise during the weekend. Remember to retrieve it from the tech officials after your inspection is finished.

2.6.06 > Lockhart Phillips USA names Jonny Moore 2005 Team Privateer Of The Year <

In addition to being named Privateer of the Year by Lockhart Phillips, Moore won the CCS Championship for the Mid-West and Great Plains region and raced an impressive 147 races in 2005. Check your mailboxes .. because the Spring Mailer is on its way to you. It contains schedules, list of fees, forms and more information for Daytona, Road America, Barber and Heartland Park-Topeka ASRA/CCS events.

1.22.06 > 2006 Factory Contingency Programs Update <

We are pleased to notice that several factories have posted 2006 Contingency information on their websites, some with application forms. We'll be posting them on our Forms page, so be sure to visit it often to see what's new.

1.19.06 > SouthWest Banquet Information <

The 2005 Region Banquet for the SouthWest Region will be Feb. 18th in Chandler, Arizona.

1.18.06 > 2006 Daytona Schedule <

The schedule of events for the March 3-5 CCS/ASRA event at Daytona has been posted. The official schedule will be available at registration. The Spring Mailer is at the printer so cut-off for Daytona pre-entry has been extended to February 20th at 9:00am.

1.10.06 > 2005 Mid-Atlantic Awards Banquet <

This year's celebration will be at the Hilton in Columbia, MD on January 28th, 2006 starting at 6:00pm with Cocktail Hour (cash bar). Dinner will be served at 7:00pm with the Awards presentation starting at 8:00pm.

Also we will be distributing the Southeast Awards won by Mid-Altantic Champions at this event. (just as we will bring the Mid-Atlantic Awards won by Southeast Champions to their banquet.)

Reservation cutoff is January 24th at 5:00PM.

12.21.05 > 2006 Rulebook Posted <

The tentative 2006 Rulebook has been posted. Thanks to everyone for their input and we look forward to publishing the final version shortly after January 3rd.

As normal for this time of year, we have been informed of schedule changes for both ASRA and Team Challenge Series as well as the Mid-West and Great Plains CCS-Sanctioned Series. Be sure to check them out on the schedule pages.
